Stone Gallery Prints

The stone gallery was inspired by visiting Machu-Pechu in Peru, Stonehenge in England, and the pictographs in the South-west United states. I’ve always been fascinated by ancient mark-makers who left their legacy of images, symbols, and later monuments. After being there and getting a feel for what they made, I reworked the ideas and tried to create my own art, bringing their ideas into today. Those images encouraged me to explore different printmaking methods such as pastel transfer, etchings, lino-cuts, and making collagraph plates.
